A bridal session will forever be one of my favorite sessions to do. Not only are they a great time for us to get to know each other, but you get beautiful photos in your dress. This is why I always suggest them (and why all of my wedding packages have the option to include one).
I’ve said it before and I will say it again, our connection is the most important thing. I’m basically you and your partners’ third wheel for your entire wedding day! The more time we get before your actual day the better. If I show up to your wedding and we feel like old friends – you’re going to feel 1000x more comfortable throughout your day.
While I always try and schedule time on your wedding day for individual portraits, that time is usually the first to get cut if we are running behind. Your wedding dress is likely the most expensive piece of clothing you will ever purchase, so why not make sure you get the picture in it you deserve? If you’re worried about getting your actual wedding dress dirty, we can schedule portraits after your wedding or we can even do them in a studio so you don’t have to worry about it (I’ve even had brides purchase a separate wedding dress or rent one specifically for their bridal session!).
Maybe you’ve always dreamed of having bridal portraits done in NYC or in Paris! Doing your bridal session at a different time from your wedding allows you to do that! You can do your bridal session wherever you want, even if that’s not where your wedding is happening.
Remember how I said that if your day is running behind, bridals are usually the first thing that gets cut? Well, if you’ve already done them – that’s one less thing to worry about, and one less thing to stress about! While I will always try and get at least a FEW portraits of you on your wedding day (because nothing compares), you won’t have to worry about it if we don’t get more than 2/3!
I mean, who wouldn’t want to have an excuse to wear their wedding dress more than once?! Need I say more?!
