Your wedding day is a celebration of your love,  not a photoshoot. It’s about the connection you share, the vows you exchange, and the moments spent with the people who matter most. As a Wilmington wedding photographer, my approach is rooted in documentary-style storytelling, capturing the real and unposed moments that make your day feel alive.

I’m not here to stage or orchestrate every detail. Instead, I focus on telling your story as it naturally unfolds, the fleeting glances, the laughter, the soft, quiet in-betweens that you might not even notice in the moment. These are the memories that bring your day back to life, long after it’s over.

Because when you look back at your gallery years from now, I want you to feel your wedding day exactly as it was, honest, emotional, and beautifully true to you.

a heartfelt      personalized approach to your wedding day

This isn’t a show-up-and-shoot experience. When you book me, you’re gaining a creative partner. As a Wilmington wedding photographer with a fine art and storytelling background, I approach every celebration with fresh eyes, because no two love stories are the same.

Beautiful photos are built through trust, intention, and true collaboration. From our first conversation to the final gallery, I’m here to shape an approach that reflects your story and what matters most. About a month before your wedding, we’ll have a detailed Pinterest planning call to explore what inspires you; the light, emotion, and feeling you’re drawn to, so I can photograph your day with complete care and intention.

I also co-own The Roam Collective Co., a retreat and styled-shoot company for photographers, and with 50+ curated shoots behind me, I bring an editorial eye for styling, light, and storytelling.

When we’re aligned creatively and emotionally, your photos become more than beautiful, they become yours.

Collaboration is at the heart of what I do

this is what we're looking for, bri

Film has always been at the heart of how I see and tell a story. Blending 35mm, 120mm, and Polaroid film alongside digital allows me to capture your day with both honesty and depth, the emotion of the moment paired with the timeless texture that only film can bring. It slows everything down in the best way, inviting presence, patience, and intention. The soft grain, the richness of tones, the way light lingers a little longer, all of it helps tell your story with a warmth that feels nostalgic and deeply human.

Your final gallery becomes a layered narrative, part editorial, part storytelling, and entirely you. Each frame, whether digital or film, is chosen with care to preserve the feeling of the day as it truly unfolded. Because film doesn’t just document a memory — it feels like one.

The Timeless Beauty of Film

My approach is about telling the full story, capturing the raw, unscripted moments while also creating timeless, beautifully composed images. As a Wilmington & Nashville wedding photographer, I blend a storytelling eye with a refined editorial touch, giving you a gallery that feels both real and elevated.

For most of the day, I’ll quietly document things as they naturally unfold, the laughter, the tears, the fleeting glances. But when the moment calls for it, like during portraits or key details, I’ll gently guide you with thoughtful direction to create those classic, polished images that stand the test of time.

This balance allows your photos to feel effortless and true to you, so when you look back, you’ll remember not just how your wedding looked, but exactly how it felt.

A storytelling APPROACH

Bri was a dream to work with on our wedding day. We live out of town but it was still a breeze planning and working everything out for our special day. Bri was described as a “ghost” by some of our wedding guests meaning she was so discreet but let me tell you we got our sneak peaks and we are OBSESSED. I just can’t wait to see the rest of the gallery!!! Thank you again Bri for capturing us and of course helping us pose when we are the most photogenically challenged people 😂 Bri is THE BEST!

Bri was amazing! I told her the vibes I had in mind for our shoot and she delivered👏🏼 Our photos turned out so good, and we had so much fun shooting with her! Even though we hadn't met beforehand she made us feel so comfortable and it honestly felt like we were just hanging with a friend the whole time. 10/10 would recommend her!

It truly was an amazing experience working with Bri and the incredible team she assembled!!! From checking in before the wedding, to going above and beyond to make me and my husband feel confident and comfortable, she truly did it all and I can’t imagine having another photographer capture this incredible day. The pictures are something we will cherish forever and I love that she captured our personalities and the feel of our wedding. THANK YOU BRI!!!

My husband and I have no complaints about Bri, Only praise. She is the best photographer we have ever worked with. She made us both so comfortable. She will be your biggest hype person and her work speaks for itself. Bri is so talented with her photography, it truly captures the memories for years to come. To be apart of her photography is a blessing itself and we will forever use her!

Planning a wedding comes with a lot of moving pieces, but your photography experience shouldn’t add to the noise. From the moment you reach out to the day you’re reliving your gallery years from now, my job is to make everything feel easeful, supportive, and genuinely cared for.

Here’s a little glimpse into what it feels like to create together:

what working together will look like

01. the discovery call

After you inquire, we’ll schedule a relaxed video or phone call to talk through your vision, priorities, and what matters most. These conversations are essential — this isn’t a one-size-fits-all experience, but a creative collaboration built on trust and shared intention. I’m not just showing up as a vendor; I’m here as your photographer and a partner who genuinely cares about your day feeling true to you.

After we chat, I’ll send a personalized wedding investment guide tailored to your celebration.

02. secure your date

Once you’ve reviewed your personalized investment guide and you’re ready to move forward, I’ll send over your private client portal with everything you need — your contract, invoice, questionnaires, and helpful resources — all in one organized place.

To officially reserve your date, a $1,500 retainer and signed contract are required. Once those are complete, your date is secured, and we can move into the fun part: dreaming, planning, and shaping a photo experience that feels true to you both.

From there, I’m fully in your corner — ready to support, collaborate, and bring your vision to life with intention.

03. resources, galore

After booking, you’ll receive a confirmation email with access to your private client portal. Inside, you’ll find two personalized questionnaires — one to help me get to know you both more deeply, and another to gather the key details of your wedding day.

You’ll also receive my 100+ page wedding guidebook filled with tips, inspiration, and insights to make planning feel seamless. Plus, you’ll get a link to start curating your Pinterest board, which we’ll use together later on.

And because I love adding thoughtful touches, you’ll find a few extra resources and surprises along the way — small ways to make this season feel intentional, supported, and full of excitement.

04. your engagement session

Every package includes an engagement session, and this is where the fun really begins. Using your questionnaire as a guide, I’ll help you plan a session that feels like you — whether that’s grabbing coffee at your favorite spot, wandering the beach, or exploring somewhere meaningful to your story.

This time together isn’t just about beautiful photos (though you’ll get plenty). It’s about creating space to feel comfortable, connected, and completely at ease in front of the camera before your wedding day.

05. questionnaires

The time between your engagement session and our timeline-building call is all about dreaming and planning. This is when you’ll start curating your Pinterest board, gathering inspiration, and refining the meaningful details of your day.

While I’m not a planner, I’m here for you every step — offering insight on lighting, locations, and ways to make your day feel even more intentional and true to you.

Around the six-month mark, you’ll get a quick check-in email from me to see how everything is going and offer support wherever it’s needed — a little reminder that I’m always in your corner.

06. timeline planning

Around four months out, you’ll start filling out your wedding day questionnaire — this is where all the details begin coming together. At three months, we’ll build your custom photo timeline. We’ll collaborate through a shared Google Drive to keep everything organized and stress-free, and depending on your day’s complexity, we can hop on a call or meet for coffee if you’re local.

This part of the process is all about intention and ease — making sure your day flows smoothly, your priorities are honored, and you can be fully present while I capture it all.

07. final planning call + wedding day prep

About a month out, we’ll hop on a final call — or grab coffee if we’re local — to walk through your photo timeline and review your Pinterest board. This helps me understand not just what you love, but why, so I can photograph your day with clarity and intention.

The week before your wedding, I’ll do a final venue walk-through to get a fresh feel for the space and light. Behind the scenes, I’m prepping gear, loading film, charging batteries, and double-checking my bridal emergency kit.

From there, we’ll shift communication to text to keep things simple and stress-free. You’ll have everything you need, and I’ll be right here — calm, prepared, and ready to document it all.

08. your wedding day!

When your wedding day arrives, I’ll be there with multiple cameras — digital, film, and Polaroids — to photograph the soul of your day as it naturally unfolds. From quiet, emotional moments to joyful chaos, I’m there for all of it.

My approach is rooted in storytelling. I’ll step in with gentle direction when it’s helpful, but never make your day feel like a photoshoot. I’ll guide you through locations, help with timeline pivots, and support family as needed so everything flows with ease.

Through it all, my goal is simple: to keep the energy light and the focus on what matters most — so you can stay present, soak it in, and make beautiful memories with the people and places that mean the most.

09. wedding previews

Within 72 hours of your wedding, you’ll receive your preview gallery, typically around 100 photos, a little glimpse into every part of your day. These images are ready to share with friends and family while the memories are still fresh, giving you a beautiful way to relive the joy and emotion of it all right away.

10. gallery delivery

Within 6–10 weeks of your wedding day, you’ll receive your full gallery — complete with digital images, 35mm film scans, and your Polaroids. If you’re dreaming of a custom album, this is also when we’ll begin the design process, creating something timeless and tactile to preserve your story.

And as a little something to hold onto, I’ll mail you your original Polaroids — because some memories are meant to live off-screen.
