Joshua Tree National Park is unlike anywhere else in the country. Not only does it have the most perfect sunsets (and sunrises), but it truly feels like another world. It’s no secret to anybody that Joshua Tree is one of my favorite places in the US (heck, it’s the location for my own wedding!). So, anytime I get a chance to capture a love story here, I can’t say yes fast enough.

Within the park lies endless location opportunities to say your vows and have your portraits taken if you’re eloping. Then, in the surrounding towns, there are more than enough options for gorgeous Airbnbs to get ready in.
Earlier in the day before the photos started I scouted out the most perfect location for them. They didn’t care where it was within the park, but they knew they wanted Joshua Trees, rocks, and mountains. Now, while that sounds easy – the park has very distinct landscapes in different locations, finding a spot that had all three without a hike (but wasn’t RIGHT on the road) was a bit more difficult than one would think.
After picking their location, we started out with details in their Airbnb (details are always something I love to capture). They just couldn’t wait to get married so they decided to elope now in Joshua Tree, and will be having a celebration back home with their friends and family this summer!
