Lake Michigan Micro Wedding at Lake Bluff Preserve

This timeless Lake Michigan wedding was one for the books. Recently, I had the pleasure of photographing Mackenzie + Josh’s intimate wedding in Frankfort, Michigan. Lake Bluff Preserve is a magical venue right on the Lake Michigan coastline, and If I didn’t tell you any different, I’d assume we were somewhere on the California coast.

I met Mackenzie and Josh at Mom ‘n ’em Coffee in Cincinnati to chat over their day and we instantly became friends. The second they told me they were having a laidback wedding day on Lake Michigan with their closest friends and family, I knew this was a match made in heaven.

We did their engagement session at The Cincinnati Art Museum, which was the most perfect contrast in photos for their gorgeous, sunny, late May wedding on the Michigan coast.
