The Oregon coast is easily one of my favorite locations in the Pacific Northwest for photo sessions (and weddings!). So, when Ashley + Thomas reached out wanting to do their session there, I couldn’t be more excited.
They wanted to start their session in Astoria, as it’s a small town on the most northern point of the Oregon coast that means a lot to them. We then decided we would end their session out at Cannon Beach and let me tell you, it was oh-so-perfect. Out of all of the times I’ve been to the Oregon coast in the last few years, I’ve never had a more perfect sunny day. There was seriously not a cloud in the sky and we had perfect Oregon fall temperatures.
Starting in Astoria, we met at this super cool theater downtown and then walked around for a bit capturing their love. The first part of the session had a bit more of a traditional engagement session vibe, but when we went out to the coast – Ashley had a very specific vision. 90’s Calvin Klein, and boy oh boy let me just say, she NAILED it.
Oregon, you will forever have my heart.
