Wedding planning is exciting. And overwhelming, emotional, and, full of opinions.
After years of working inside the wedding industry, my friend Ezra and I kept having the same conversation: couples are navigating one of the most meaningful seasons of their lives; and so much of the advice available to them either feels surface-level or filtered.
So we created Ceremonials, a wedding planning podcast designed to give couples something different.
Not trends.
Not pressure.
Not vendor gatekeeping.
Just real conversations from people who actually work weddings — shared directly with couples.
What Is Ceremonials?
Ceremonials is a wedding planning podcast hosted by two vendors who deeply believe weddings are more than events.
They’re rituals.
They’re transitions.
They’re intentional beginnings.
On the podcast, we talk about:
- How to choose vendors you actually trust
- What wedding budgets really look like
- How to build a timeline that feels calm
- What matters — and what doesn’t
- How to make your wedding feel like you
It’s thoughtful, honest, and sometimes a little unfiltered.
Because couples deserve transparency.

Why We Started a Wedding Planning Podcast
As vendors, we see behind the curtain.
We see what creates stress.
We see what creates ease.
We see what couples regret.
And we see what they cherish most.
We also see how much noise there is online.
Instagram shows highlight reels.
Pinterest shows perfection.
TikTok shows opinions.
But what couples often need is context.
Ceremonials exists to bridge that gap.
From Vendors to Couples
One of the things that makes this wedding planning podcast different is that it’s not vendors talking to other vendors.
It’s vendors talking directly to couples.
Ezra and I both believe:
- Planning doesn’t need to feel chaotic
- You don’t need to perform your wedding
- Your experience matters more than trends
- You deserve vendors who communicate clearly
We’ve spent years building businesses around connection and collaboration. This podcast is an extension of that philosophy.

Who Ceremonials Is For
Ceremonials is for couples who:
- Care about intention
- Value experience over aesthetics alone
- Want to understand what they’re investing in
- Feel overwhelmed by online advice
- Want to plan thoughtfully instead of reactively
It’s not about having the biggest wedding.
Or the most viral details.
It’s about creating something that feels grounded and meaningful.
What You’ll Hear on the Podcast
Each episode of Ceremonials dives into topics couples are actively searching for:
- How to choose a wedding photographer
- What a planner actually does
- Budget realities
- Guest count conversations
- Timeline myths
- Vendor communication
- How to avoid wedding-day regret
We’re not here to scare anyone.
We’re here to empower couples with information so they can move forward confidently.

Why the Name “Ceremonials”?
We chose the name intentionally.
Because weddings are ceremonies.
But they’re also a collection of small rituals leading up to the day.
The conversations.
The decisions.
The planning meetings.
The quiet moments of anticipation.
Ceremonials is about honoring all of it.
More Than Just a Wedding Planning Podcast
For me personally, Ceremonials is an extension of how I approach wedding photography.
I’ve never believed weddings are performances.
They’re lived experiences.
The podcast allows Ezra and me to speak to couples before the wedding day ever arrives — to offer clarity, reassurance, and perspective long before cameras or timelines are involved.

Where to Listen to Ceremonials
Ceremonials is available wherever you listen to podcasts.
Whether you’re newly engaged or deep into planning, this wedding planning podcast was created to help you feel less alone and more informed.
Because wedding planning should feel intentional; not intimidating.
