This romantic intimate wedding in Colorado was something I’ll never stop obsessing over. Last year, when I did Julia + Nate’s engagement photos – they asked me if I traveled for weddings because they were thinking of getting married somewhere out west. I, of course, very excitedly said yes and we got to planning. At that point, Julia and Nate were open to pretty much anywhere (with the hopes of finding a place with mountains and water) so I began making up a list of epic venues all over the west. After lots of consideration, they ultimately landed on Blackstone Rivers Ranch in Idaho Springs, Colorado, and let me tell you, I’m so happy they did.
Julia + Nate got ready at an Airbnb nearby where they then had an untraditional first look. Then, they hopped in my car and we drove up to Echo Lake for the wedding portraits. We had a little bit of rain during their portraits which truly made for some incredibly romantic and magical portraits. After that, we drove back down to their venue where they said the most heartfelt vows ever (seriously everyone was crying). They then ended the night dancing and celebrating with their closest friends and families.
